Common Questions

Who is the best locksmith in Fort Collins?+

By review record, 970 Locksmith holds a 4.9 rating across 417 verified Google reviews, with flat-rate pricing quoted before dispatch, a 22-minute average response, a 1-year workmanship guarantee, and a Master Locksmith owner on every job. Judge any locksmith by those four things: reviews, upfront pricing, response time, and who actually shows up.

How do I choose a good locksmith in Fort Collins?+

Get a firm all-inclusive price on the phone before anyone is dispatched, check the volume and recency of Google reviews, confirm they are licensed, bonded and insured, and ask who is actually coming — a local technician or a subcontractor from a national call center. Avoid any "$19-$35 service call" ad: that number is bait, not a price.

Why does a 4.9 rating across hundreds of reviews matter more than a 4.6?+

A 4.9 across 417 Google reviews means nearly every customer over years of work left five stars, which is hard to sustain at that volume. A lower average usually points to repeated problems like surprise pricing, damage or no-shows, so read the recent reviews before you call any locksmith.

Is 970 Locksmith really available 24 hours?+

Yes, live dispatch 24/7/365 including holidays, at the same flat rate with no after-hours surcharge. Average response inside Fort Collins is 22 minutes.

What should I ask a locksmith before hiring them?+

Four questions: What is the total all-inclusive price? Are you licensed, bonded and insured? Who exactly is coming to my door? Do you guarantee the work? 970 Locksmith answers all four upfront, flat-rate quote, full credentials, owner Omer on the job, and a 1-year guarantee.
